A quick question, while being trained to do my job.. Will I get payed monthly or weekly? I'm getting trained for a month and I'll be a bit 'poor' for that month so I'm just wondering.

When I got my job, my first paycheck came in the third week, my pay each week is what I made three weeks ago.
In my experience you normally work a week in hand and pay starts at the end of the second week. Though depends on the companies pay structure.
Call Centre, telesales. Not sure why I'd need 4 weeks training for that but whatever. Thanks for that, really hoping I get paid before the month is over because I don't fancy going for that long with £35.
It's usually weekly or biweekly, but like Firis said they may count your hours in strange ways.
It's not uncommon on biweekly pay for them to count the hours you worked 2-3 weeks ago and let the most recent week bleed into the next paycheck.
I have never heard of any job that pays by the month. What would they expect you to support yourself on for your first month working there?

Loads of jobs over here get paid by the month. Although thinking about it, it would be pretty stupid to make me go without money for a month.. For all they know, I could be living by myself with no money at all.
