It just looks like something they opted to take out during development. There are a lot of things that we don't see in the released version, like the Footprints above the Trader's head in one of those images on that link, and that "Legendary Longbow" on that image there too, although that might have eventually become Skorm's Bow.
I don't think I'd be too concerned with this sort of thing. Pre-release images are like this, much of the time.

I pretty much determined the same, Funny I just looked at that picture with the traders and the foot prints.
I just want to know why they had to do that, take such cool things out to make me ANGRY!!!
and it's damage is like..1.0..what is that?

The damage was probably just some different system they'd been using at the time, I'd wager. No real way to know, now, I suppose... That's game development for you.

Yeah. It's so unintelligible compared to the rest of its info that they were probably still working on the detailed information parts of weapon descriptions when this was shown. And again on the damage, they might have just set the damage rating of 1.0 to a power level so high that it'd kill anything necessary until they went in and set everything to what they are in the released versions.

Decided the big banner thingy I had before didn't quite fit my avatar and was a bit too big, but I couldn't give up on Disturbed so I had to put a piece of one of my favourite songs there :thumbsup:
Anyhow, yes, it's a fact that the designers and programmers gets a pimped-up version - and I bet they can add stuff really easily for their children when they play...

Also, did you notice on the bow picture the beginning of the description looks to read "Fable". Prove me wrong. Also, I like the 1.0 means something more like maybe 100 damage if its decimal. I don't know.

Did anyone go to the link and watch the videos at the bottom? It's pre-gameplay, it's pretty f***ing cool looking, a bandit has a cool sword, and the hit multiplier looks weird.
