XBL Leaderboards

So... My Gamertag has disappeared from the leaderboards here. Any idea as to why?

Re: XBL Leaderboards

Personally i have no idea why that would have happened, maybe Steve has some idea what could have caused it to disappear. Im not familiar with that add-on so unsure.

Re: XBL Leaderboards

Alrighty. Might it have something to do with my recent absence? I lost my copy of Fable II and went in a bit of a huff, so neglected to come back for a hwile.

Also, is "Steve" the Admin (ProjectEgo)? I feel like I should already know this but... Well, I'm senile.

I dont see why activity would effect it but who knows as im not sure how it was designed. Yeah Steve is Projectego & he installed it.

Ah, right. Well, I'm not going to trouble him about it. Seems impolite.

Ever since I saw the leaderboards I've had the goal of beating Hericus. I should be in 4th place right now... His day will come... :P

Im sure he will be happy to look into it and might be as curious as i am as to what caused that to happen. Id forgotten about the Leaderboards until you mentioned them to be honest.

Re: XBL Leaderboards

Sweet. Hopefully it's nothing too troubling.

Re: XBL Leaderboards

It's back. I'm in 5th, under Urahara.

Re: XBL Leaderboards

Probably just a momentary server error or something. :)

Re: XBL Leaderboards

The truth is: If you're e-Penis is bigger than mine then I'll have to silently erase all memory of you from the forum. I can't be having members think that my e-Penis is not the largest and mightiest of them all'!

Nah, just kidding. :P

It is in fact down to activity; the XBL leaderboards only display members whom have posted within a certain allotted time period - which without double-checking I can't be sure but I believe it's currently set to a week or so. The reason for this is because, we have over 9,000 members, most of whom have opted to display their Gamertag. If the forum had to comunnicate back and forth with the Microsoft XBL database to retrieve said-Gamertags, then it would certainly impact the forum's performance. As it stands, the leaderboard is only requesting a small fraction of Gamerscore information to be retrieved per page refresh.

That's it really.

Ah, that explains it. Thank you for the reply. :)

I should be around more often, with the imminent arrival of STF and talk of F3.
