Xbox 360 controller stopped working...

My xbox 360 controller just stopped working it isnt a wireless controller so it cant be the batteries.

Every time i plug it in the 1 and 4 lights flash fast and then it stops.
i dont know if anyone ever had this but i hope someone can help me.

I now use another controller but its a cheap version of th xbox360 controller... it sucks even more.

I had this problem yesterday, twice. It worked for me when I unplugged the controller and then plugged it back in, making sure the part of the controller cord that snaps together is fully connected.

Maybe I'm lucky. The wires in your controller could be damaged then, I have a cheap 3rd-Party controller that doesn't work properly anymore where if I push the Guide button I get the quickly flashing lights (1 & 4 blink twice real fast, and then nothing happens), but if I hold the controller a certain way where the cord bends at the root, then it works for a bit.

I think that wont work either because i would have to hold my controller like that the whole time i play

Have you wrapped the cable up a lot and twisted it? Can ruin the inside of the cables if you have.

perhaps thats what happened...

I was already thinking about a new controller because RB kept stuck sometimes...
