Xbox 360 is it rlly worth it??

i want to get an Xbox 360 but rlly only because i want Fable 2 and Elder Scrolls IV : Oblivion and maybe Halo 3. So should i get one or not???

Definately... and as soon as possible... Mass Effect, Assassins Creed and Bioshock are top titles too. Along with many many more, what are you waiting for?

But to say you only want it for Halo 3, Fable 2 and Oblivion is doing it a disservice.

Definitely get yourself an Xbox 360 whenever funds become available. There's just a tonne of incredible games lined up - DD mentioned most of them; Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 4, Halo 3, BioShock and too many more to list. ^_^

Which version is worth buying? I read somewhere in this forum that the core version is bad. If I don`t have the money to buy more expensive one should I just not buy a 360?

The core isnt that bad its just you pay more for the wireless controllers and hard drive separately etc than you would just buying the Premium one so works out cheaper to buy a premium.

If you want to be able to play some of the best games anyone's ever seen, all being released in the next year, then yeah, you'll be wanting a 360 :lol:

The core isn't bad it will still play all of the game coming out this year. Plus you can probable get a 20GB HD cheap on ebay or a used game store like gamestop and if the rumors are true it will have hdmi and a wireless controller with it's new name "Arcade". There are bound to be specials this Holiday season so just start saving and get one. I got the Elite by the way but I had to wait longer to get it. The Premium came down the most with the recent price drop.

OK then. I`m not getting one anyway. At least now I know I made the right choice not buying the core system since I don`t have enough money to buy Elite... well, I could, but then I couldn`t buy games.
Game prices are really high, one costs about 1/4 of the console itself.

Just go for the Premium then, they have just had a price reduction same as all other versions and are retailing at a fair price.

I'd say its worth it, I just got an premium xbox 360 last week and all i have right now is bioshock and 2 demos. Regardless im still happy with my choice, it is an amazing machine.

I second that. Get a 'Premium Bundle' if you can. I bought a 'Dead Rising Premium Bundle' which got me alot of goodies.

Dead Rising, of course.
Wireless Controller, along with a 'Play n' Charge' kit.
20 GB hard drive.

And some more which I can't remember. It definitely beat just buying a core version.

The core is a good way to incrementally get started it will cost you less up front but more in the long run, if you decide you want everything either the Elite or the Premium. The only thing the base unit lacks for now is HDMI everything else you can get later.
