Xbox 360 Port of N64 Classic, Goldeneye, Cancelled
Remember Goldeneye 007 for the ol' Nintendo 64? The game that was considered, for quite some time, to be one of the all time best FPS games in gaming history was, up until recently, undergoing a makeover and would eventually become available on the Xbox Live marketplace.
The Xbox 360 port of Goldeneye would feature the ability to play online through the use of Xbox Live but would retain all the amazing qualities that we all witnessed back in the day when it was exclusive to the N64.
The problem now, though, is that the little gem has been cancelled because the folks who make the magic happen at Microsoft and Nintendo apparently can't decide how to split the proceeds. A real shame that their disagreement means that we're losing out on such a fantastic title such as Rare's classic Goldeneye and allowing it to slip through our fingers.
How crap is that?
