GamePro said:
Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg said in an interview on Friday that current Xbox 360 machines are already improved amid abnormal system failures.
"We have made all the improvements in our manufacturing process," Greenberg told Kotaku at the Tokyo Game Show. "All the consoles on the market have those improvements."
Greenberg added that any console sent in for repair also receives these "improvements" similar to buying a new console off the shelf.
To date, Microsoft has stayed quiet on specifics for fixing the "red ring of death error" that renders Xbox 360 units useless.
The statement comes as the company readies its most crucial game launch ever -- the release of Halo 3 which is expected to boost slowing Xbox 360 sales.
