CVG said:Microsoft is pimping its Christmas line-up this morning, going as far as calling its roster of games including Bioshock, Mass Effect and PGR4 the "greatest release schedule ever".
From the end of summer to the festive period, says the willy-waving press release, Xbox 360 boasts over 60 new releases, bringing the console's total library to over 300 games.
Just think of all those Achievements...
The biggest games in the line-up, says MS (as if we needed them to point them out), are role-playing adventure Blue Dragon (which we really need to get around to unpacking), Project Gotham Racing 4, Halo 3 and everyone's favourite underwater shooter Bioshock.
If you like being sociable, Microsoft also notes that Viva Piñata: Party Animals and Buzz! Clone Scene It? are also in the shops - though you can't pull off any Christmas headshots in those. Nan'll be pleased.
As much as we hate getting behind a platform holder's shameless PR machine, the Xbox 360 has an undeniably great line-up this holiday.
We don't know if we'd rather be playing Mass Effect than Mario Galaxy on Christmas Day, but there are certainly more than two games worth owning on Microsoft's box, even if the Wii is certain to trample it in the sales charts.
Urgh, we feel dirty...
