Re: Xbox Live

Definitely get yourself an Xbox Live Gold subscription. I couldn't live without mine. Playing Gears of War co-op online is just too awesome. To be honest, there aren't a ton of games I've played since then haven't been half as fun as playing Gears but Halo 3 is pretty good, too.

Only problem I have with Xbox Live Gold is that, and it isn't the services' fault, certain games that I love playing, such as: Burnout Revenge, Splinter Cell Double Agent, Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Team Fortress 2, etc, don't have a whole lot of people playing on them.

However, if you like Call of Duty 3, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Halo 3 and Gears of War then you're in luck. There's like a zillion people playing those games online at any given time.

Cool! Thanks a lot, ctj! Just a quick question before I steer this thread too far into the wrong direction: Which bank or building society are you getting a debit card from? If you haven't already, be sure to check out Nationwide or Lloyds TSB if you haven't already - they're both just great. Lloyds TSB are really lenient if you are overdrawn and Nationwide has a great online Flexi and e-Savings setup.

And just to brag: When I got my Nationwide Gold credit card at the age of 20, the staff at Nationwide told me I was the youngest person to ever qualify for their gold card. Something which is reserved for people with very high income and generally way over the age of... 20. That was cool. Their eyes light up every time I go into my local Nationwide branch, too. Hehe.

K, I'm done.

Get Xbox Live Gold. You'll love it. ^_^

Oops! Why the hell did... "Dell"... have to go and put the 4 next to the 3(?)

I meant Call of Duty 4. :P But, then again, Call of Duty 3 might be doing quite nicely in the online multiplayer department, too. You never know!

Nah the online for Call Of Duty 3 wasnt very good at all... didnt even feel like Call Of Duty. Call Of Duty 4 stands head shoulders and damn stilts above Call Of Duty 3.

Re: Xbox Live

Yeah, it's definitely worth it. I started playing my 360 a lot more once I began playing online. Microsoft has set up a few different ways to pay for Live. You buy it monthly, every 3 months, or just buy a full year. It's a better deal to buy a full year but if you would just like to try it, one month would be good. Did you ever use your free month?

I didnt actually play many games online until COD 4 came out.

However id still never regretted paying for the subscription even before then.

Re: Xbox Live

You should get so i could kill you over and over and over again in cod4 i mean help you in cod 4 thats what i meant totally 100%

Re: Xbox Live

Its worth it. At launch I had it allready and I only had enough money to buy one game. That was COD2. I played COD2 on XBL for AGES. At least 6 months.
