That's pretty harsh, Sharon. So I'll be burning in everlasting agony forever? I'd say that's a pretty evil thing to believe in.
I didn't make it how it is so I'm not being "harsh". Bible says God doesn't want anyone to be lost but we do have free will so if someone chooses, after consideration and proper examination (not that many bother with that part anymore - too much like hard work, right?), to reject God then that is truly their decision. Can't all be sunshine and lollipops without a flip side.

But I'm not going to get drawn into what most certainly won't be a debate but rather a slamming of my faith so I'll drop my part of the discussion here :)

I prefer mythology, these gods were more interesting. Like, when Chronos under his mothers/lover Gaia request cut his fathers balls off and threw them at the ocean.

The ocean approves. Right, Ocean?

Christianity isnt about accepting God; it is about believing what other people and one badly source-checked book. The freewill argument just paints him out to be an asshole; like me putting a spider on the table and if it moves right I kill it. It has free will, not my fault it chose to damn itself by moving right! The fact I never explained that moving right would kill it doesnt matter... does it?

Uh, so the tiger that kills something to eat, will go to hell just because it can't stand the entity of god? Or that's a human-only rule.

Animals don't go to Heaven. Not even the really smart ones like the chimpanzees wearing people clothes and rollerblades. Which is why it is always awkward when a family pet dies in a Christian family.

That's limited. Why animals don't go to heaven? I mean, it's contradictory to a good bunch of things.

I'm pretty sure it is because there is nothing in The Bible about Animal Heaven, so it is just naturally assumed it doesn't exist. Not to mention that animals are (from a human's viewpoint anyway) not sentient and as such can not accept God or ask for absolution of their sins(whatever they may be...?).

Some Christians don't even consider mentally handicapped people eligible for eternal bliss, so it shouldn't really be surprising animals aren't allowed neither?

Oh, whatever. I believe in my own way. Though it's funny to see so many flaws on one of the most popular religions.

Oh Christianity is full of contradictions and flaws. My favourite being:

1 Cor 11:14 said:
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

How am I supposed to believe a divine being with total omnipotence such as the Christian God is to be associated with a religion that is so shoddy as Christianity? It just doesn't hold water. It reeks of human error, not divine spirituality.

A lot of male figures do. Arch-Angel Gabriel is often depicted as having long flowing golden blond hair.

Exodus 20:4 said:
Thou shaft have no graven images

Another favourite of mine. God basically said "Listen up, don't worship anything, or anyone, beside me.". However, the Catholic church is big on Saint Worship. If you ever stepped into one of their churches you'll notice that there are tons of images of Saints on the glass windows and walls. I guess they're not beyond altering the words of God, because they're obviously fine with worshiping these Saints.

1. what an idiot
2. Seriously? really? What the fück? thats amazingly like, wow, even someone whos actually has mental retardation is more intelegent. (I dont liek saying retarded)
3.I believe in some creator(s) or higher power(s) and some sort of afterlife(s) of some kind. I cannot stomach everything just.. ending when you die. but I don't actually have a religion, and I think hell is bullshït, people who are evil have something wrong with their brain.

Although I don't really have a religion I can't help but have a vague notion of karma when it comes to my outlook on life, y'know the whole 'what goes around comes around.' philosophy.

A big man in the sky? Really?
I just think the world should grow up. Christianity was a scam in the medieval ages that the peasants went for cus it was a light at the end of a dark tunnel. Religion is the cause of so much conflict, when religion = lies. The world was made in seven days? More like over billions of years + scientifically proven. It's just bullcrap. Divine intervention = luck. Karma isn't a physic, but if you believe in it so much coincidental events can be seen as karma. Same as any 'Godly' actions. Religion, for me, is on par with paranormal activity. So much more I could say but I don't wanna offend people anymore than I probs have. Just my views. Yours offend me also, and also offend the entire human race by making us look stoopid. If it works for you and makes you happy, kewl bru. But if God does exist, he's an asshole to me, so **** him.

EDIT > Adam and Eve. Biggest plothole the authors and creators of the Bible ever did. So we're all imbred are we?
