sfroggy1 Interviews Ted Timmins from Lionhead

I'm sorry to say, but I never did like Fable 3. Customisation was severely limited, the maps felt much smaller since they were mostly just patches of nothingness (all regions in Fable TLC felt familiar, and the merchants and enemies that filled it made them feel considerably larger, so all in...

    Fable 4 Ideas

I see how you feel Platus, but personally, I really don't think Fable would be suited to any of the WWs. It's too personal, too recent. Fable 3 was taking it a little far when it put the game in the industrial revolution. As you know, Fable is a fantasy, with its own timeline and its own story...

    Shadow Theresa? *spoilers*

Theresa's clothes are pretty generic anyway, they probably thought they could get away with it. Anyway, I doubt the Fable team would go that deep, they seemed to work pretty hard in Fable 1 & TLC but 2 and 3 were so plain (even with the unique idea for Fable 3, they still managed to somehow make...

    Fable 4 Ideas

Ah, but unfortunately the Fable team seems to prefer making the game for less intelligent audiences, shown by their removing the decent experience system because ''no one understood it'', making the latest Fables as cliché as possible, etc. I agree with changing the morality system, personally...

    Ending- what the hell?

I doubt anyone expected the game to skip from day 160 to day 0 without any warning. It seemed much more likely that the game would stop on day 2 and military preparations would be made; what sort of moron would hear Theresa say ''you have one year today'' and not make preparations even on the...

    Fable III SIgh (Spoiler alert)

Sigh... I can't stand Fable 3 personally, I loved Fable TLC to the point where I've completed it around 10 times (I'm not exaggerating), but then Fable 2 was a game killer for me, since the storyline was so linear and orientated to good players (I felt like an evil warlord helping a cat out of a...

Does anbody miss having katanas, axes, cleavers etc

They really shouldn't have gone with that weapon morphing system, it's pathetic. You get 6 or 7 possabilities per weapon piece maximum and most of them don't even look that good! And as for the whole bows/crossbows issue, I'm pretty sure that archery was a popular enough sport among those high...

    Suggestions for "fun"?

I didn't realise Fable 3 had any fun parts :w00t:! Even killing sprees get boring (five words that have never crossed my lips) in Fable 2 & 3, and the quests are so generic and repetitive! There's a few really unique ones of course, but I cant bring myself to say that They can be played more...

    Fable III Clothes thread

There isn't really much to show off since the Fable team decided that customization was a waste of time. There are hardly any outfits to choose from, and they never seemed to consider adding a few generic item sets for anyone who wanted a mix & match outfit :( Still, all isn't totally lost with...

    Fable 4 Ideas

Hehe same, Fable really wouldn't suit modern day or the future. Though I bet that if the Fable team did add horses, they'd make steering as awkward as possible so that it took the best part or a minute to turn 180 degrees, and they'd get rid of open spaces so that you had nowhere to ride them...

    decisions decsions..and outcomes

Drew has it spot on there, just leave your controller in overnight and you'll wake up to find that you've got the gold. Just don't, what ever you do don't go too far in the main storyline until you have the gold. Day 1 hits you like a tonne of bricks from the sky.

    Possible future DLC

I reckon it'd be nice to have a DLC that involves time travel of some sort. Now, as an evil player, I'm getting sick and tired of the fact that the people who make Fable always seem to assume that the player is a good guy; all the DLCs that I know of either involve quests where you save people...

    Thoughts on Fable IV Regions?

Some sort of actual quest in Oakvale would be nice. Perhaps an evil side quest given to you by a spectre of some sort. This would take you to the new, evil Oakvale that Fable 2 neglects to let you explore properly, and it'd be epic if the quest involved going to an older Oakvale, either going...
