3 Big Things

3 Things I want for FIII:

1) Screw Quick travel. We want Cullis Gates.

2) With Cullis Gates comes Fast loading, well so I hope.

3) Or, no loading at all. And with no loading, comes large land, well so I hope.

There. Simple. No dragons, scythes, horses, shields etc etc.
I mean if you can have touchy touchy, you can have fast loading surely????

Wait there was also another thing. I don't want, "Oh! there's a sale in Bloodstone, go quick travel there."
2 minutes Later.
"Oh Wait!! Your wife wants sex."
1 minute later.
"Your Child's B-Day!!!"
3 minutes later
"lolololol. Quick-Travel to the corner of Albion. this will take 200 hours and in this 200 hours you will receive 4 more things to do. Those 3 things will be in all the other three corners of Albion."

Yeah. You get the picture.

Re: 3 Big Things

wahwahwah, I'm so populair I can't travel from one region to another without getting more quests and activities.
get a grip crybaby, sounds like you don't want to be able to get a child, sales or even sex with your wife!

If that's all your problems from Fable II, you should be VERY pleased with the game ^_^

3. None of the events you are listed are vital to the game, It never tells you that your wife wants sex unless you go to the Family section. And there is no time limit on this.

Also when the hell does your child have a birthday in Fable 2?

Re: 3 Big Things

My kid has had a birthday before.

But seriously, quick travel gets you to multiple spots in every region, whereas in TLC, for example, you can only teleport to the Greatwood Cullis Gate, and not go directly to somewhere like Darkwood Marshes or Greatwood Lake.

And if you don't like how your family needs you home all the time, then don't have a family. You don't have to have one. In fact, you don't have to do any of the side quests that come up during quick travel. So quit complaining and just learn to ignore things.

Really?! o_O

Does one child have multiple birthdays or is it just the transition from baby to child?

Re: 3 Big Things

i don't know about most of that stuff, but you may as well kiss cullis gates goodbye. in fable 2 the story indicated that the only remaining cullis gates were outdated and hardly working. if they brought them back in the sequel it would only contradict... :/

How now?

In Fable: TLC some cullis gates had to be reactivated and that was **** easy.

umm remember in fable 2 how the only remaining cullis gate was in the mages house. and you had to kill off spire guards for a full 5 minutes while he made the damn thing work? they have established that will is an increasingly rare site as the timeline goes forward.

Doesn't mean there will not be will users in Fable III, There could be many offspring from the PC in Fable II and other people with the same bloodline from other continents.

Plus, Garth built that one.

Cullis gates are dead, face it and move on.
It's not like you miss them do you?

Which is why four are used in the game.

And it would be nice to bring them along with the guild back for Fable III.

Re: 3 Big Things

Oh c'mon! you are just being nostalgic, you - you God damn conservative gamer! :p
The Cullis Gates.. they used to serve as means of fast traveling, but now they are reduced to elements keeping us from advancing too far ahead of the story.
I only used a cullis gate two times I think, first when you go out of the Guild Cave and second when you go to Wraithmarsh.

Fast Traveling is a lot more convenient, and because the regions are so big you can travel to different parts in each region - something that would be impossible with a Cullis Gate.

Re: 3 Big Things

I liked cullis gates too, but F2's quick travel was more efficient. If cullis gates returned, they should put a lot more of them in each region, so that the amount of gates in each region would equal the amount of places you would quick travel to. They would also have to give some kind of an explanation as to why cullis gates are back, but anyhoo, that would make cullis gate travel equal to quick travel in my mind.

I think it's just the baby/child transition.

Re: 3 Big Things

I ignored my having wanting sex. She dumped me.
And if quick travel is so important to everyone all I'd ask for then is quick loading. and no glitches.

1. Stop saying we, do you have multiple personalities?

2. ...Quick travel avoids dicking around.

3. None of the events you are listed are vital to the game, It never tells you that your wife wants sex unless you go to the Family section. And there is no time limit on this.

Also when the hell does your child have a birthday in Fable 2?
1. Yes. Yes we do. :p

2. Avoids dicking around? Then why the **** does it take 70 hrs (in game)

3. I hate when my wife leaves me. It makes my Fable Save feel empty. And to keep my wife around there are three rules;

a) Give her sex when she needs it.
b) Give her sex when she needs it.
c) Give her sex when she needs it.

If that's all your problems from Fable II, you should be VERY pleased with the game

Pretty Much. :D

1. Quick travel VS. Cullis Gates = their practicly the same thing......

2. Cullis Gates will not make the loading time any faster. The only difference is no time would pass on the in game clock.

3. No loading + large land. Easyer said than done.

If by that you mean "I was gonna make sense, but then I got high", then yes.

As for the updates on sales and your wife and all that, just ignor it. It doesnt get up in your face like a pop up. Its just a little yellow dot in the corner of the screen. When I'm playing Fable II, I don't notice this AT ALL.

1. Cullis Gate= No time killing (in game) - Quick Travel= 70hrs from Bowerstone to Bloodstone? WTF? yet another example of realism ****ing me off.

2. Okay, maybe I should say: PUT FABLE III ON PC!!!! That will get rid of that problem.

3. Yeah, well Peter sounds like he's improving on Tech, so, I think it could be done (unless it's just good ol' Pete being his normal self and over-exaggerating. :p)

Dragons = cool In WOW and Runescape (and Dink Smallwood :p)
Scythes = cool In WOW and Runescape, and Diablo
Horses = cool In oblivion
Shields = cool In WOW and Runescape

Scythe is a Fable TLC character.. an important part of the fable story lines

Bethesda didn't CREATE horses

Runescape and wow didnt create Shields.
