A little bit too far?

I got banned on a forum called Black Water Ops. The reason I was banned for was not spamming, trolling, or posting anything innappropriate. It was because the mods didn't think an avatar I submitted was neccesary. Now I admit that it wasn't the best avatar, it was a cropped picture of some art from the art of halo 3. But banning me coz they didn't like it? The ban will be lifted shortly but I want other peoples opinons on this. Did I deserve it?

Some forums are a little strict and ban people for no reason, it happens unfortunately. I was permanently banned from a forum before because a mod asked me for links to these forums in a shoutbox. As he was the main mod i thought it was ok to give them to him. However the admin banned me for advertising, it was later overruled and i was reinstated though and had an apology. I had been a helpful member there for about 4-5 years too but they were going to ban me for good for that.

nah, undeserved. i'd never go back and make sure to give them a bad rating on any forum promotion sites they have.

mainly because that ban is downright ridiculous :lol:
