Champions Online

I was once an avid player of 'City of Heroes'. If you haven't heard of it, it's an online Superhero game. I spent a good two years in that game, and when I discovered that some of the makers of City of Heroes were developing a new Superhero MMO I was VERY excited. I instantly joined the Champions Online forum, enthusiastically making myself a part of the community. And when I was randomly selected for the Closed Beta I was incredibly happy. I gave it a try and had a lot of fun, but after that I never went back to it. Looking it up on Youtube, it looks brilliant. I want to get it very badly, yet my computer is pretty rubbish. I guess I'll have to save up for a cheap-o gaming laptop OR just forget about ever playing it. Do any of you play Champions Online?

Re: Champions Online

Oh I have heard of this. The guys who made this are making Star Trek Online. I don't play it. I don't play it but from what I heard its really good. You can make your own arch-nemesis to fight against and a whole load of other stuff. I can understand your reasons for wanting it so bad

Decided not to waste money buying a new Xbox 360 and will put that money towards a half-decent gaming laptop instead. Batman: Arkham Asylum is a must-have!

Re: Champions Online

Hmm the game sounds interesting but i dont really know if it would be the sort of game for me LOL. I like the mass destruction games like destroying everything (prototype for example.)

but at some stage i might have to check it out some time.

Re: Champions Online

Never been a fan of super-hero comics and the like. Maybe it's because I never had much of a childhood.
