here are a few (note not all of them are mine)

I'm not truly happy, it's all a show.
A play acted out, a heart filled with pain.
A wound you can't heal, the blood it will stain. A lie that once lived as the truth deep inside.
The joy that you saw when you looked in my eyes. None of it's true, and none of it's real.
I must die now or else live in fear.

I'm coming to take your life away
I'm coming back so you can't stay
I'm coming back to town,
If you want to live don't stick around.
I am the Grim Reaper
A soul keeper.

If you think, forever you will live
Son one day, your bend will give
It will snap
And send you back
To a place you don't belong
Everything you do will go wrong
You'll be sent where there's Brimstone and fire
And your soul won't rise any higher.

I don't care what you have to say
I'm coming to take your soul today,
I gave you a chance to make your choice
You should've spoke clearly, so I could hear your voice
Maybe next time you'll be clear

Waiting for the sunset
Waiting for the night.
Waiting for the darkness
Waiting for life.
So long to wait.
So much to wait for.
Finally the day ends.
The world’s mine.
Nothing can stop me.
I’m the night.
There was a time
when I was happy during the day
and afraid in the night.
But that was before I was born.
And I started to forget about day,
right after I was born.
There’s the madness
waiting for every vampire who doesn´t...

i know but poetry are not songs... if this sounds like a song, it shouldnt be labeled as poetry. at least in my opinion

Firis you're very first peom is nice, i liked it alot. The other was too much for me to read

What Tyloric is saying is that a poem is not necessarily a song and so doesn't need to be labeled as a song, a point that I must agree with. Because he's right. In entirety.

But instead of getting bent out of shape over semantics, how about getting bent out of shape over an epic bump. Timestamps, you will observe them.

Eh that doesn't make sense to me. Jack said it SOUNDS like a song lol. Plus he said it wasn't poetry. So if its not poetry, then it could possibly be a song. If its not a song then its just a random set of words stuck together to make a rhyme with no possible meaning whatsoever...but then again...that would be a poem . UNLESS it sounded like a song. In case you haven't noticed, I'm just making random crap up...which has the potential of being a poem if you think about it.

^Mind you though that I did say that one wasn't mine (It says 'not all' but I was planning on adding.)

None the less, they ARE poems, and they ARE songs. Songs ARE poetry acted out musicaly, at least that is the way I see it, whether it is complex poetry or simpel ryhme poetry, it is poetry.

EDIT: This is over a year old, let it die, this is amatuer poetry now. Check the dates before you post this is OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD.
