Everyones a mute!

I am getting ready for a right shouting at from some of the guys on the forum, but i also know that some people will agree: The people of Albion are losers. And need to socialise more! Admittedly there is blips,where people start saying the odd sentence! But A: The hero NEVER even talks! B: because of this you cant actually engage in full scale CONVERSATIONS unlike Oblivion.(Even though Oblivion sucks!) Yeah and the whole idea of your character being a full on mute gets on my nerves. ANYONE AGREE?

who actually wants to talk to random people in Albion? besides, the absence of a voice in you gives you the ability to come up with a voice for him (or her)

yes, it makes you feel more connected to your character because you can imagine his voice. If you have this whole thought of who your character is, then they just start talking, you kind of feel like your connected to him. Lionhead wants you to feel as though you are playing in the game and wants to connect you with your character. In my opinion, I think it was great and it worked for me.

eh, not really.
i like my hero as a mutant buff devil alien who cant talk.
him grunting whenever something important happens is good enough.

I don't know.. I kinda wish they would do it like Oblivion; you're a mute in that game also, but you can have conversations.

I don't think its a nice idea though, in Fable the expressions take the role on how much people like you and also your alignment and many other things. Fable is REALLY mode deep than Oblivion.

PS: I believe Oblivion wasn't ever a good game, because it has a lot of problems and parts that make it an uncomfortable RPG.
