thats twice as long as fable II and though it wasnt that long, Fable II was a nicely propotioned game

It's good that they've expanded the storyline. I hope there are lots of sidequests too.

i remember gametrailers saying that oblivions main story line/quest would take around 20-30 hours but it took me 13hours...

Oblivion is such an expansive game though, you can really be too upset that the Main Quest didn't satisfy your wildest dreams...

its not always the main quest that makes a game. and size isnt everything either, id rather have a smaller more detailed map like (GTA4) than a huge one that mostly empty (GTA san andreas). but the main story could only be 15hrs and id be fine with it as long as its good, i have a feeling that itll be a bit longer than that but who knows, the majority of time is the sidequests and as long as they are good then thats whats important, they really immerse you in the game and help flesh out the world your living in. sidequests are really only good for two things tho, help you grind xp and get better weapons so your more of a badass in combat or you save them until after the main story is over so you can keep playing and still have something worth doing
i think it would be awesome if the main story was only 15-20 hours long but you had like 15-20 hours of good sidequests with good storylines that dont feel like chores or mini games that get boring after the second time you do them. the sidequest where you save your kid was neat the first time you did it but after you save your kid from the hobbes 30 times it just gets old and youd think your kid would be smart enough not to do that again.
id like sidquests that have just as much impact on the world as the main quest i liked the one where you had to defend the temple of light and then watch it grow id like a lot more of that

Actually San Andreas was one of my favorite GTA games. The Story was superb and the huge area just lead to more things to do (i.e drive an airplane). But anyways there were only some side quests in Fable 2 that really were fun. Some others felt like a hassle to do in order to progress through the game.

Actually San Andreas was one of my favorite GTA games. The Story was superb and the huge area just lead to more things to do (i.e drive an airplane). But anyways there were only some side quests in Fable 2 that really were fun. Some others felt like a hassle to do in order to progress through the game.

Im more partial to Vice city Myself, but San Andreas was still a top game. When I got that game it was one hell of a merry Christmas.

the spells i can't speak for, but 20 full suits of clothing is definitely among the larger. i think fable 2 had 10-13. you have to realize that this means you get 20 different options of every article of clothing.

great demo, i'll +rep ya.

also, with more of those sentinal things appearing after you become king, i'm starting to rest assured that fable 3 will tie into an overarching plot line nicely.

technically you're right. i was more referring to how little difference existed between most of the choices.

That's nowhere near as bad as the hats. Highwayman, Upperclass, lowerclass... They look even more the same!

Although I appreciate the longer gameplay (most of us wanted Fable to have a nice, long storyline), I hope PM is going for quality too, not JUST quantity.
