i think they need something to do with garth for a preorder bonus for 2 reasons
1 = They have the other 2 heroes

My friends and I where thinking' about this yesterday. Problem is, Garth does not have a weapon. I mean, they could give out a new Spell Gauntlet, but that would be kinda unfair right?

This is, of course, assuming that Lionhead cares about canon-ness because, well, they gave us Reaver's Sword and not his DragonStomper...

That isn't Reaver's sword, it just says it's linked to him. Reaver used a cutlass (like a typical pirate) in Fable II and it looked nothing like that.

It's probably a sword he used in latter years, just like Hammer.

So giving an exclusive sword, tattoo, hammer, etc. isn't unfair but giving an exclusive spell would be?

She did (supposedly). That's probably why we're being given her hammer.

No. I use spells to kill enemies just like you might use a sword or a rifle to kill enemies.

You're not seeing it as a whole, One grants a completely new way of fighting, while the other is just a completely replaceable weapon that looks nice.


Let's put it like this:


Physical Shield Gauntlet

During his travels in the Samarkand, Garth uncovered a long forgotten Will power that enabled the user to cloak itself with a magic barrier. He implemented it into this gauntlet to help protect himself against the dangers of said continent.

Against a pitiful Hammer that does extra damage to wicked enemies!

Agreeing with Tyrant on this one. Imagine if they made Time Control exclusive. Many people would miss out on an entire playing style, but if they make a Hammer exclusive, they're mainly missing out on an aesthetic difference.

iagree o both sides of the argument here. i really think its unfair that will users dont get an exclusive item, on the other hand i see where tyrant is oming from. maybe they could have given garths clothes that when worn increases the damage of your will or something.

Phsyical Shield would be pointless and extremely overpowered. That's not what I'm asking for at all. Not that it matters because these are simple pre-order bonuses. You can easily put down $5 for a pre-order and then pay the rest the day the game comes out.

A hammer is a weapon. A gun is a weapon. A spell is a weapon. Are you saying it's perfectly fine for me to miss out on a weapon that MORPHS but it's not okay for me to miss out on a single spell that may or may not add much of anything to the game? Do you know how many spells I used in Fable II? Two. I started using three recently since I found out a neat little trick to use with the Raise Dead spell.

Therefore, most of these spells go to waste anyways.

Is the villager creator bonus a gamestop exclusive? Because I was thinking of preordering from a different store mainly because they just have cheaper prices than gamestop or best buy or Toys R us. And there is no Walmart in NYC so idk about that.

The Villager Maker isn't store specific so you can pre-order the game anywhere and get it.
