Rumor has it that the impossibly long delay and subsequent cancellation of Duke Nukem Forever might not be enough to take down everyone's favorite over-the-top gaming action hero. Word is that Gearbox is taking what 3D Realms had and finishing it off in a comparatively timely manner.

Kotaku claims it has an inside source with the intel and that Gearbox's own Randy Pitchford teased more clarification at this year's PAX show in Seattle running September 3-5. Maybe then we'll actually get confirmation that the eternally developed game is back on track.

That's cool. I only recently started playing Borderlands but I'm really enjoying it. I'm sure Gearbox can return Duke Nukem to its former glory and come up with a worthy successor to Duke Nukem 3D (one of my most favourite games ever by the way).

That's cool. I only recently started playing Borderlands but I'm really enjoying it.

Took me a while to get into Borderlands but when i did i enjoyed it. Also when i played some co-op with friends. Going to be getting the DLC soon too.
