gold face statues

does anyone have a list of expressions for the gold faced statues that i keep seeing?? i know using expressions make them hunch over and their face falls which in turns unlocks certain doors in the area.

any help would be great.

The statues are showing wich emotion to use. Look for the one that looks most like it.

I'm pretty sure one of the cemetary ones is the "point and laugh" expression if my memory serves me correctly. I could be wrong so don't hold me to that.

I found one in the Brightwood tomb called Archon Knot where the Daichi is located, the expression there is Bloodthrust laugh or something like that.

Re: gold face statues

The only one I can remember for sure is one of the two in Bowerstone Cemetery which requires you to use the Point and Laugh expression. The other one (or any else of the Golden Face statues, or "expression statues") I can't remember what to do in front of. Sorry.

Re: gold face statues

No, I remember both in the Cemetary now: they are the Point and Laugh expression and the Vulgar Thrust expression. Just thought I would add that now that I remember and holy crap, it's morning already!?

I'm pretty sure it just says what expression to use on the d-pad.

Re: gold face statues

The statues unlock certain doors or release flit switches to unlock the doors.

List of Expression Statues

[[===========================================================================]]

1. Location: Bowerstone Cemetary, go to the main area of the the Bowerstone
Cemetery which is The Graveyard, there you will find the statue
right after you enter through the gates.

Expression: This statue is doing a fist pumping action, there is no such
expression in the game. However, when you get close to it,
different Rude expressions appear on the D-Pad. I used the
Vulgar Thrust expression (which can be bought in the Bowerstone
Market bookstore "Fiction Burns" in The Town Square. The book
you need to buy is "The Perv's Handbook") and the Statue
deactivated.

This opens a tomb behind the statue, right before and to the
left of the stairs further into The Graveyard. In it you will
find a Flit Switch which you must shoot. It will then move to
another location, shoot it 5 more times in different locations
until you reach a large tomb up on the hill where you will need
to kick the Flit Switch. It will then seal itself in a small
pillar and the tomb will open. In it, is a chest.

Reward: Noble Lady's Hat, Precious Necklace and Porcelain Doll.

[[===========================================================================]]

2. Location: Bowerstone Cemetery, before the gate leading into the main area
which is The Graveyard turn right into another gate, then over two
bridges and finally through another gate. Look to your right to
see the statue.

Expression: This statue requires that you do the Point and Laugh expression
in front of it. If you do, the door leading into the underground
tomb down the stairs and to the left of the statue will open.

Reward: "Dead Handy" and "Dog Tricks! Play Dead".

[[===========================================================================]]

3. Location: Bloodstone, in the tomb immediately to the right as you enter
Bloodstone from Wraithmarsh.

Expression: This statue requires that you use the Pick Up Line expression in
front of it. Doing this opens a tomb a little up ahead on the
right. Go inside and open the sarcophagus.

Reward: Silver Key.

[[===========================================================================]]

4. Location: Twinblade's Tomb

Expression: This statue requires that you use the Chicken expression in
front of it, you must also be standing on the switch near the
statue. Doing this opens the gate to the left of the statue.

Reward: Progression in Twinblade's Tomb.

[[===========================================================================]]

5. Location: Archon's Knot

Expression: This statue requires that you use the Bloodlust Roar expression
in front of it, this opens the Flit Switch cage.

Reward: Progression in Archon's Knot.

[[===========================================================================]]

NOTE: This statue will only activate after you defeat Chesty, so you have to
sleep in Brightwood Tower a second time and come back to Nightmare Hollow
to activate this statue.

6. Location: Nightmare Hollow, sleep in Brightwood Tower after you buy it.

Expression: This statue requires that you use the Chicken expression in
front of it, doing so will open the door of the house opposite
the statue. Inside the house is a Banshee and a chest.

Reward: Emerald.

Hope this helps.
