Hair wont grow the way I want it to...

So, I have hair that is much like a jew fro, but with much bigger curls. I hate it. I know it would take a few years, but I want long hair. Hair like zakk wylde, skwissgarr, toki, nathan explosion, you know, head banging long metal hair. But, I have no idea how to go about this. Any suggestions?

I wish I had a jew fro. So you want to grow your hair long? Just wait a bit.

Also, don't even think about dreadlocks unless you're sure you want to go down that path. I had them for like three years, and they're a lot of work, trust me.

This may sound sad, and it is, but I have none, and thanks for the advice peoples, I'll try a straightener and see if that'll do anything.

I gave up on my hair a while back, straightening takes over thirty minutes, even with female assistance, and I can't style my mane... The best I can do is blow dry it bent over (As so it straightens out through gravity and heat) and brush it down hard, so if you want it straight that is the best I can offer, sorry.

my hair only grows in two ways: Mex fro by itself, then helmet-ish hair if i wear a cap

I for one can disagree with that.

I have quite thick hair and straighten it every morning. It takes time to get used to.

Jew fro's are cool. I'd find a style that suits that. Just because you listen to metal, doesn't mean you have to copy the hair.

I went to sweet and sassy and found some chemical stuff, it worked but i burnt my head!

Good thing my wife is a professional hairstylist. Waiting does not always work, especially if you don't take care of it or have bad hair. You can increase the growth of your hair by taking vitamin E, vitamin C, and B vitamins.

Vitamin C can be found in an abundance in oranges and orange juice. Vitamin E can be found in eggs, nuts, sunflower seeds, turnip greens, vegetable oils, etc. I would suggest getting your helping of B vitamins from supplements, those that are in liquid form. A tablespoon of the liquid held underneath the tongue for a few seconds to absorb the nutrients will do the trick.

Good for you, for me it takes over a half hour even with female assistance.

And they say women take too long.
