Urgh there was a jerk camping at our flag capture place with a shotgun (that is now very effective) so we lost the round. I HATE Sword Base with a passion, it makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry.

I think this is the new trend. I played two games of Stockpile on Sword Base only to have two different guys go invisible with shotgun behind the wall. Unfu**ingbelievable.

BTW does anyone know where the Sniper spawns on Sword Base? I picked it up once but cant remember where lol.

I did the most awesome Team Oddball thing ever yesterday, final score was 148 - 150 to us lol.

Oh damm. I got our only flag capture with 3 seconds left to the game and their entire teams was behind me and my team was going towards them and they were like fighting but because my team was one man short (me) one of them ended up surviving and he assassinated me on the flag capture but I got the game winning point.

camping is mighty easy thts my only concern really on swordbase 1 flag ctf, i grabbed sword went stalker and waited for the flag carrier to come up the stairs and murdered him brutally. got a nice killstreak as they went to keep trying to recollect it till time ran out and we won. seems like a big improvement but not a step away from halo 3s game, dont kno whether thats bad or not.

That's nothing. On the awesome game of Team Oddball, my entire team had 149 points the other team had 142, they had the ball. Eveyone else was respawning, it was just me and my jetpack. I flew as high as you could and threw a sticky grenade which hit the oddballer on the other side of the map (On Powerhouse, he was down near the cliff end, I was at the base) and killed him, with 2 points to go. The ball respawned (it went off the edge) right where I landed, I picked it up and won.

Halo Reach Beta Ends May 19th

We already knew that the beta would start tomorrow, May 3rd, and now we know how long we'll all be enjoying it for. The beta will run for 17 days, and end on May 19th. That's going to leave a long, painful wait from that day until September when the full game launces, but at least these next two and a half weeks will be pure gaming bliss to satiate our hunger. And hey, at least we can all take solice in the fact that the beta STARTS TOMORROW!!!

Remember, you need a copy of Halo 3:ODST to get into the beta. If you still don't have it, it's not too late as you can still order it on Amazon or rent it with a free gamefly trial. But you'd better hurry!

I am loving invasion so much. Its fun to see how Spartans fare off against elites in the first two phases, but then in phase 3 all the elites just choose the loadout with the sword and the game turns into a one-sided match as the spartans have no melee weapons.

My favourite weapons right now is the grenade launcher. Everybody else goes for the shotgun, energy sword and grav hammer, which means I can take them out from a distance with bouncing grenades and remote detonation.

I just really like the different classes they give you, it's so fun sneaking up and assassinating some one now.

Now that Invasion came out I am enjoying the Beta, but I am still putting it off so I can finish FFXIII and rerun through Borderlands with a friend.

I will enjoy the full game much more, as I have said I am more of a single player man for Halo, the only time I really played the Beta thus far is when a few friends were on it, that is because then I have some possible teamwork and a team that I know their skills. I am a marksman and the best with grenades, Danny is the best of us all with the Splaser and Pistol, Chris is the best sniper, Mike is good at holding choke points because he uses a really high sensetivity and is good with most weapons, Andy is an amazing driver, exc...


In my opinion Halo has always been a campaign game, that is where I think it excels. When I want to play Multiplayer I might turn to CoD, because other than MW2 they do multiplayer damn well. (Not that Bungie does it bad, just not my taste or pace)

I'm hating all the noobishness. My least favourite at the moment is when they choose sprint loadout, get grav hammer and sprint up to you, giving you less than a second to kill them. WTF.

^No idea, I changed my controls to recon so it's like the Halo 3 default because I'm used to that one.

Oh ok, I'll have a look tomorrow.

I think bumper jumper for Halo Reach is redundant, as jumping now is rubbish.

Please bring back decent MLG fun matches, I hate being beaten by 12 year old kids again.
