Help with people

Hello i have just started playing fable III 3 days ago and i have become king and finished defending albion from the darkness and mostly finished but after the attack there has been no more people only the people who ask for quests are left and thats really it and guards but thats about it please help because it sucks with out people around the place :/ all there is dead people please help.

But when you sleep for ages people come back but they hate you someone said

Well, if you ended up making a lot of evil decisions as king or became extremely evil, then people might hate you, but simply sleeping to make villagers come back will not make them hate you.
