How do i complete the mayors in vitation if i killed the two guys in memorial garden And it wont let me dig between the boats on the beach

what? are they have something to do with that quest? i usually don't come to hear they say, i just simply USE spade in inventory list and still find that necklace, don't waste time coming to memorial garden, really
PS: the necklace won't be there until Lady grey ask you to find it

Lavenderbolt is right, don't wait for the spade icon to pop up on the screen, you have to actually go into your inventory and click on it to dig up the necklace.

If that doesn't work, then there's probably something wrong with your disk.
