How to kill a troll. (Fast)

All of this and the testing was done during the Crucible.
Do not flame this thread it may help some people.

I beat the troll in 11 seconds doing this.
If you want proof Digital Osmosis was there


Okay so everyone seems to think that killing a troll takes time and its the longest enemy to kill. Well it kinda is, but you can kill a troll in less than 20 seconds.
Okay so 1st thing i did this a few times to make sure it works every time and it does. You can use either level 5 slow time or level 4, than you use a level 5 inferno (level 4 may work i will try it) and than there you go a dead troll. i will post the steps if you think that this is helpful please give +rep

1.)Once you are at the troll stage in the Crucible than you do level 4 slow time or level 5 slow time what ever you have.
2.)At this point you run up to the troll and by the time you get to him he should be just getting fully out of the ground.
3.)You should get almost under the troll and use a level 5 inferno.
And there you go.

Thank you i will do some more tests and make sure that it works just as good with trolls out side the Crucible it should as long as you know where they are

Yep was there (have done it myself many times before in my goal to reach first place in crucible times... 9th so far... given up for a lil while) however instead of Slow Time I prefer Raise Undead, I usually keep my spell bar with 1-4 undead and level 5 Inferno so I dont have to switch spells and the undead do a good job of keeping him off you long enough to let off a level 5 inferno (just run behind him if you do though you can be inbetween the troll and the undead otherwise...
Some funny results can come of using Slow Time though such as being launched into the air nearly out of the map if you are fast enough to be right where the troll emerges.
Oh and +rep Ryu, its always helpful... I know first time I tried to defeat the troll it took forever.

I might do my bit and make a full on crucible guide later on, might inspire me to retry getting first place... there are quite a few lil tips and tricks to making it through rather fast.

Okay the way i did it when you are 1st in the hall way and the time hasn't started yet than you cast the level 5 or level 4 slow time and than you run if not under it than you go like 20ft away and that in game is like less than half way away of a fully charged level 5 inferno

I will have to try that, my next Crucible visit. I managed to get him only one time with flame, in 11 secs. Haven't done it again, but I never used slow, except to fast forward.

Wait a second is advice I have given near the launch of the game re-surfacing now? I found this out through a friend on the 4th day the game came out and posted it here n the cruciable thread.
