"Invisible" Helmet Graphics. Possible?

I'm very unsatisfied with the way helmets cover the heroes face and would like to find a way to make the helmets invisible, but still provide a bonus. Is it possible? I know with some games I have tried this on it does remove the helmet, but sometimes the heroes head, hair, or facial hair, etc too.

Probably make the graphic instead of 8859 or whatever it is 0

I definitely considered this. I can find the helmet graphic and can indeed change its ID to 0, but I haven't tried it in game yet.

just change the amour of some other equipment you can wear so same amount of defense, just not wearing a helmet

I know you can edit the amount of damage inflicted by just your fist, so I assume raising the defense of wearing no armor as well.

I believe so, but as I said, I'm not a modder. I have seen my friend mod though. Nothing was hurting him and he was killing everything in one blow. :thumbsup:
