So after playing Fable3 for my second all-nighter, and gathering nearly every book for the acadamey, I'm came across a certain line of dialog after collecting a rare book one must obtain through a quest. The book detailed the lived of Hammer, Garth, and Reaver, but that really isn't important. After returning the book the librarian said he had heard of the Author writing a second book, involving the Jack of Blades and Lord Lucien. This could mean that Jack may have been behind Lucien's evil plans. At the start of Fable 2 Lucien mentions a prophecy. Could he have been given this Prophecy, and knowledge of the Spire, by Jack?

It could also mean that he is responsible for the crawler, after all the metal enemies that compose the crawler's army are called minions, the same name given to Jack's soldiers in Fable, and Fable: TLC. If the above turns out to be true, then it is possible that the true conflict behind the Fable series has been between Jack and Theresa, with the heroes, and the villains, serving as only pawns.

No. Jack is dead in Fable - The Lost Chapters, for good. The canon is, is that he's defeated once in his "human" form and again in his "dragon" form and the Hero of Oakvale tosses his mask into a volcano which ends him forever. Lucien has absolutely no contact with him and most likely knows nothing about him.

Also, don't get excited about similar names and such, Lionhead is notorious for being lazy with their developing.

This... this could mean something couldn't it? HAS to mean something if the two are together... highly unlikely however.

And it was Theresa who manipulated Lucien, and Jack and Lucien both tried to destroy Albion so a book about the world's two biggest villains doesn't mean much

To think that just a little lava could end such a being from before the dawn of man, and one that exists in a purely spiritual form, is preposterous. William, the man who killed the King of Blades, and Queent of Blades, did so by going to the void itself, stealing Jack's sword, and using that. Way more effective than lava, seeing that the sword killed their spiritual being. Can lava do that? Didn't think so.

Also Jack brought himself back to Albion without even using the mask. While the Hero held the mask, Jack managed to come back as a dragon. Eliminating the idea that Jack needs the mask to live.

As for Canon, things can be said, and then changed. Lionhead has been notorious for this too.

Look, its simple, The author is writing a book on two of the past villains. No connections needed. They were both villains. Thats it. It was Theresa who manipulated Lucien, not jack.

And yo Purple Nurple, did Grimwhim get banned...? Cuz if he changed his name, that dude ain't him...

Guys, I'm just gonna throw this out there: While mindless speculation can be fun, it will let you down, especially in Fable.

And yeah, GrimWhim got banned, then made an alt account, which got banned as well. I think that guy might be GrimWhim's new alt account though.

the jack of blades thing has been constantly debated since the release of fable 1. that's the better part of a decade guys.
lets leave it at this, in order to know if jack is still alive, more knowledge of void beings and what they are capable of is necessary.
i personally debated with Necromancer11, another member here with a frightening amount of Fable knowledge, and after literally over a month of page long replies and arguing each side from literally every angle what's what it came down to. no matter how many ways i came at him trying to prove that jack could still be alive, every point was either cancelled out by another or left to a personal opinion. as far as cannon goes there is nothing. NOTHING that is factually supporting of jack being alive, nor is there anything disproving it. if a lionhead executive says jacks done, then the cannon can be hanged.

also, i saw an interview with a lionhead guy who said in a nutshell that they have no plans of bringing back jack.
this means jack is dead.
this means that jack could not have been manipulating a tyrant 300 years later.

May he R.I.B.F.F.

Is this thread serious? The novel you find before that is about Hammer getting wet after touching Theresa's hand, she starts thinkning about how"Garth and Reaver were so hard and yet so soft" to one another.

I am referring to another novel, mentioned by the librarian. According to the librarian the book tells of Jack meeting with Lucien. And who knows, Hammer could've been interested in women. The librarian even says he finds it strange because he thought Jack was defeated 500 years ago.

Also when does Theresa manipulate Lucien?

Not manipulate as in control. But IMO, she killed his wife and daughter, ensuring he'd begin his research into the Spire.. And his diary does claim she visited him as well as when he 'meerly listened' on Hero Hill.
Manipulated him into rebuilding the Spire for her. Aswell as manipulating Sparrow in finding the three Heroes the Spire needed for her. Off-topic still

You're kidding right? That book was a joke. JoB was killed 500 years ago, Lucien died 50 years ago. Do the math.
And if that isn't enough the novel you talk about is obiously a joke regarding Jack and Lucien in a possible romantic relationship.

Im not stepping into this argument, but who is canon??
canon means that it is part of the official series of events. for instance the book of mark is considered christian cannon, but jesus christ superstar is not.

lionhead confirmed that choosing to kill jack of blades in fable 1 was considered cannon, so that is the ending that fable 2 assumes to have happened. fable 3 imports your save from fable 2, meaning that all choices made at the end of fable 2 are canon.

I'm not sure who that is. Is he well known or something? Then again... I imagine if you're asking me whether I am him or he is me then it can't be that good.

Also, I'm not exactly sure why you're going to be "watching" me as that can very easily turn into stalking/harassment and I'm not exactly fond of that.

Did you seriously just try to argue with FACTS? Yeah... there's no way I can ever take you seriously again.

It used to be a FACT that the world was flat. Looks like that turned out to be wrong. I've yet to find any article saying JoB will not return.
