That's capitalism for you, I'd say turn to socialism or move to a socialist country but you probably think that that type of thinking is evil.

You know me better than I would have expected.

Don't worry. As soon as those greedy teachers get all their rights revoked and their pays ground to dust the American economy will be awesome.

on the brighter side, eventually japan will be in a different part of the world......and that's a pretty big eventually.

Well, eventually everywhere will be in a different part of the world.

Time for the American government to spend another million or so dollars it doesnt have and give it to the country with the best economic status in the world and f**k up our economy even more. Every time some natural disaster happens to some other country, our dumbass government has to go spend a f**k-ton of cash on relief efforts putting us more in debt, and when something happens here they sit and twiddle their f**king thumbs. Not making any friends with this comment but I dont give a F**K! And before anyone asks, no I dont give a f**k about all the dead people either.

It's so much more important to appease some arbitrary economy god than it is to save actual human lives.

I hate to break it to you, but the whole world is in debt to practically nobody...back when money first started, it was based on how much gold people have. But now..It's just ridiculous.

Exactly. I say the collective governments of the world just pass laws which erase their debts. If a few banks lose some money, then I say thats a good thing.

Governments can't be held to ransom over worthless paper. They exist to serve the people, not the economy.

She's right you know. In the olden days it was about how much gold a country had. It's inflated to enormous proportions in present day. Everyone owes everyone money, and NOBODY has enough physical gold to back that up. Add to that the global banking system, where there is actually less money than there really is. Think about all the people loans are given out to, think about if all the people who had savings account suddenly withdrew all their money.

Were that to happen to ANY country, they would prove to be very deep in debt. I see your point Fenrir, I really do and I agree. We've spent billions on other countries when we have our own problems on our own soil. In the end the global economy is resting on money that doesn't exist.

I'll be totally honest, I was unaffected by the tsunami in India. I didn't give a rat's ass, they don't matter to me. But Japan... you SHOULD care about Japan, because if ANYONE is going to revolutionize technology as we know it, it's them. Also, any massive loss of human life is a terrible thing, I just felt nothing for the disaster in India. I actually give a **** about Japan though, so this disaster hit me hard. I wanna live there someday and leave the US.

Also for the dickotry you've displayed. How about a plane crashes into your home and everyone you know and love is dead or dying. I'd love to see you say to the rescue workers: "Oh you don't need to save them." There's being cold (like myself uncaring about the India thing) and then their is cold heartless cruelty. You're not even acknowledging that something terrible has happened.

Now this is my opinion, but if all you wish to say is how those people don't deserve rescue, I don't think you deserve breath in your body either. After all, it's only fair, according to you. I agree that death is warrented upon the evil people. But who the **** are YOU to say who deserves to be rescued and who doesn't? If anything, you deserve to not be rescued when the time comes, and I'll be sure to let the paramedics know that you yourself said you don't deserve to be saved.

Wishing an ill fate upon another who has not proven themselves worthy of such, makes YOU worthy of such. Try not to be so hypocritical in the future, and I won't find the need to throw your words in your face.

I apologize for the assholish comments, but seriously. Thank you, and have a nice day ^_^

-Your friendly neighborhood werewolf, who doesn't give a ****.

PS: I'm back, with a fiery vengence.

Edit: I went overboard and I realize that. But I cannot stand such inhumane ideology. I again agree the US really has nothing to give to anyone right now, and should focus on their own problems. But your attitude is unacceptable.

Nuclear power plants have had their cooling systems damaged, it's unknown as of yet whether or not they will melt down. This aspect isn't just bad for them, it's bad for China, Hawaii, and US.

I really hope the UN does everything they can to get Japan back on it's feet.

Apparently they were going to release some radioactive vapours into the air to release some pressure, but it turned out that the vapours may have already escaped.

It's all gone, all that's left are the foundations of homes and buildings. Everything else has been washed away.

Yeah, I keep hearing now that they have a radiation leak from that one plant that they had the damaged cooling systems with.

sorry to change the subject to something a little less gloomy, i realize this is a major tragedy. it's just that i know someone in an affected area who hasn't posted on her facebook or played mafia wars (which she usually does) for the entire day. just so i can post in the single interesting thread presently without wondering if my friend is dead or not, i'm going to ask this:

i heard that because Japans oil is getting hit hard from this catastrophe, the price of oil has gone down. can anyone explain how that works? it seems to me that when you make something less abundant, the demand (and therefore price) increases. that's what public school economics class and common sense have taught me. now, i can work around a lot of paradoxes... but that has me going through a loop trying to figure out how it could happen.

Totally off topic, but I'm in love with your signature.
