Leading a rebellion.

The thing I like about Fable 3 as much as being king is that you have have to lead a rebellion to overthrow the king.

That is cool. Peter said that you will have to recrui t people by doing quest. You can recuit one person by a time or get a whole city by your side.

I want to know what you guys think.

Yeah I think it is cool, as long as it's not some pointless side-task that has no further reprocussions, it'll be cool. I'd love to see individual settlements change in player hostility towards you as the faction inside it changes.

Re: Leading a rebellion.

I have a lot of questions about the recruitment system, but I'm hoping it involves a combination of stronger story-relevant NPC individuals (like Walter) to take care of towns, as well as squads of weaker military units (Gypsies, Bandits, Magi, Witch Hunters, etc.) that you can just recruit as a posse. That way, you could flavor each town with various military units if you so wished, and it leaves room for political strife between factions (Light vs. Dark Monks, Witchspotters vs. Magi, Upper vs. Lower class, etc.)

I'd like to walk into a town that I have a strong grip on , grab a couple of thugs, and go do a quest where they actually help fight off enemies. Likewise, if my army doesn't respect me, I'd like to see them flee in the middle of battle or have some other ill-effect of low morale. Not sure how difficult this would actually be, but assuming Dynasty Warriors could do it on PS2 I think the Fable crew could figure it out.

I would love to see an all-out battle between our forces and Logans forces, and when the dust clears you have the final battle with Logan.

A final battle sounds ideal. Especially because its only the halfway point in the game.

Good idea... But the fact that usually happens in video games and even more movies.

Re: Leading a rebellion.

I think that I would just bribe people into fighting for me with cookies and other yummyful baked goods, no take backs of course. Im sure theres alot of people in Albion who would ACTUALLY fight for that lol.
As for battles, I love em. Cant get enough of em. and I cant wait to kick Logan's butt. Ha!

I wish You could do that, food would be a great motivator to get the people to fight most of them are probably starving because of Logan.
