New character issues

Ok i have made a few extra characters because i just cant help myself. But everyone i make starts off with full strength/stature etc as if i had already been playing for ages. So my character starts off tall, muscular and with glowing tattoos. Some might say this is a good thing but i actually like to see the progression of my characters.

Has anyone else had this glitch?

Not really but it wouldnt matter now, that character is at the end of the game now lol. I just started another like 5 mins ago specifically to investigate weapon morphing more, and so far he actually seems normal. My first character was normal, my second and third started with the upgraded appearance but this new one so far is short and skinny lol
