Well if that were the case, this whole thing would be pretty pointless. When the tournament starts, members are given 3-4 weeks to think up an original character, draw it and post it onto the entry thread. (You don't post your characters here)
After that, in every battle, each player draws 2 comic strips each:
- Player 1 starts the fight by drawing a comic strip about how his character meets/ attacks the other players character.
- Player 2 will draw a comic strip on how their character retaliates.
- Player 1 then continues the comic strip .
- Player 2 will end the comic.
Everything clear?^_^
No, it has to be an original character you've thought up. Keep in mind it doesn't have to be a human, it could be a talking house cat or something. It doesn't even have to be aggressive, in my experience the funnier comics are ones with 2 harmless characters just interracting.^_^
You also have to give a brief description of your character and it's powers, as well as the name you've given to it.
And you don't have to put an incredible amount of detail on the character, remember it's a comic tournament, meaning you'll have to draw it over and over again, and so will your opponents.
You can draw with either, just try to make the pictures clear as to what you're trying to show.
If anyone is still confused, I could draw examples of characters or stage a comic battle.

Damn my Stranger Character cant be used! I'll just have to take his Hate and Crossbow and make someone else..
