    Posting articles

Just a quick reminder that if anyone wishes to post an article or some news that they have found elsewhere on the Internet then please post using the following procedure:
    • ALWAYS cite the author and source of your information. Make it clear by stating which site you found it from and the name of the author, if known.
    • DO NOT post huge articles or entire interviews - let's be honest, how many times have you avoided reading an entire post coz it's just too long? Instead, please give a short concise paragraph (usually the first one in the article offers and excellent starting point) and then provide a link to the remainder of the article.
    • BE AWARE that if you continue to simply copy and paste entire articles from other sites without citing the author and source of your information, it could be seen as duplicate content by the search engines and could result in this site being penalised or the owner of the content could find out and request that we remove it. We do not want a reputation for stealing content and those who continually flout these guidelines run the risk of an infraction and possibly even a ban.
    • If in doubt as to how to produce an article, please PM one of the forum team and we'll be more than happy to guide you.
    • Finally, PLEASE MAKE USE OF THE SEARCH FUNCTION!!! It saves a lot of time and hassle if you check first to make sure that your huge long list of info isn't already posted in other places. We have specific and popular threads for certain things and it would really help if you posted in them accordingly.
