Sony announced at their Gamescom 2013 press conference when customers can expect to see their latest console on the market & that date has been revealed as November 29th in Europe, Australia and New Zealand and November 15th in the US and Canada. It will retail at $399 in US, in Europe for €399 and in the UK for £349. It has also been announced that Sony cannot guarantee launch day pre-orders for the PS4 taken after August 6th.
They also detailed a new game upgrade program

Microsoft have yet to announce when the Xbox One will hit shelves but an announcement is expected soon.
