Returning characters

Now I know that there is alot of hype among Theresa somehow coming back, and also there are a couple ideas that Scythe is coming, which i think he probably will, but does anyone think that other characters will return?

i would actually like to see something linked with jack come back perhaps his mask or one of the other two masks he has on his belt

that's a bit harsh and no jack won't be back because PM stated that Fable 2's storyline has nothing to do with Fable 1's storyline which means that to do that Jack cannot come back!

I reckon Jack was finally dealt with in TLC where he was destroyed and if i'm not mistaken Jack's form that had the masks was banished to the Void in that portal then that form transformed into the dragons so the Masks would in fact cease to exist when they were transformed along with the rest of Jack's human body into the dragon which in turn was destroyed by the hero who in fact casts the mask in the fire.

I'm saying that it was thrown in the fire and not the evil ending of putting on the maskbased on what PM said about 80% of people who played the game played it good and of the 20% that played evil half-way through 10% switched to good.

that's one way of looking at it and i'm not trying to start fights i'm just trying to give a different view of what might happen and i'm in no way right unless when the game is released we find out that i am.

I can't see Jacl coming back. Often thought of the other masks though.

If u read the tales of albion, it says that there was three evil peope, jack, the queen and the knight. it could be the knight or the queen instead

I think it also says that both the knight and queen were destroyed with the sword of aeons by the first Archon, so i don't think that's gonna happen.

Hopefully Jack of Blades will make an appearance in one way or another. I really like his character from the original Fable and it'd be nice if he was featured somewhere in Fable 2, even if it's just a passing mention. Hopefully Polly from the Darkwood Bordello will be in Fable 2, too. Polly's great. ^_^

I really like his character from the original Fable and it'd be nice if he was featured somewhere in Fable 2, even if it's just a passing mention. THANK YOU! i just wanna see some sort of easter eggs from the first fable, ie connections with JoB and maybe an easter egg of the hero from fable 1. i think it would be sweet to see the chamber of fate maybe in like a ruin, so you could see the pics of the first hero...

Alright, this is addressing the whole "Characters carrying over thing" Some people say it just cant happen because not everyone made the good choices and new characters in fable 2 from the original must have influence from decisions in the first one. Now first off, the only time the story really progressed was when there was a cutscene, the only time significant cutscenes were availabe were after good choices. So basically the only way to think about it is " 500 years ago albion was under attack from this evil dude, and this HERO dude killed him twice and now were here" everyone with me? SO there is no story without assuming the choices were made correctly. Why? Finally "theresa" wether her, or her descendant she must be alive to exist or procreate, and that can only be accomplished through the positive choices IE (assuming the choices from fable tlc were made in the honor of righteousness) thus proving the possibility of the existance of older characters in a newer Albion. Also, it was said that your choices in fable 2 directly influence you AND THE ALBION AROUND YOU. So Im sure by the time you make it far enough into the game to discover older characters you have pretty much decided whether you are good or bad, so older characters coul;d be based of newer decisions ( Bad decisions = Bad older character / Good decisions = good older character in fable 2) Wow.

I like it in first, but wouldn't mind 3rd to see all angles sometimes, and then switch back.

I would love some old characters back, but how could they in 500? It is fantay too though. I beleive in my own opinion, jack would ruin the game bc i hate to see the same bad guy in games. Gets old. But Easter egging it wouldnt be bad. I hope they have a library so you can read all of what happen after the first game!

So excited for this game!!!!

Guys you know how in fable 1, jack tempted lady grey to kill her sister, well...maybe jack's spirit still remains, after all he was killed by the archon, and by the hero and STILL survived, just reborn into a different form, well maybe we find out that lucien was once good, but jack told him to build the tower to focus will, thus connecting him to the void, thus unleashing jack back. anyhoo, maybe he's just a spirit tempting him, like he did to lady grey. that way, he would be back, but not really back, if you see what i mean??

i agree, actually fighting as a boss again is GAY, they cant just keep bringing him back. but if hes just another spirit, that would be cool. and maybe a quest to elaborate on the whole morality thing is to get tempted by jack, say he's in like a painting (could be anything), you go into lucien's castle, and he's like ' dude, kill lucien, take his power' and you can choose whether to kill lucien, or destroy the painting. that would be pretty cool.

alright I have heard this to many times . everyone remeber the book in the first game that was writen about jack that you pick up in mazes tower place. while some how everyone that i have talked to in real life have said that book is carried over and when you to visit the old guild you pick it up. But I really don't know that is what I heard.

But if he is bought back as a ghoust or a picture that is ok to like tell and show what he is like.

How would they know? Also did you know ,in fable TLC there was a book that had a boy character based off the game character? It said there was a boy whose village burned down and his sister was abducted and he grew up and conquered evil.

there might be reffence of characters in fable but im guessing the sister and sythe are the only two still alive besides sythe because hes undead
and the sister has the blood-line causeing incredible power but maybe and easter-egg
or a level were you face people undead characters from the first game as a odd level and you have to help put there souls at rest from something thats gonna happen

Jack of Blades is a complicated matter. First, they said they wanted it as a game without any major ties to the original, so the chances are slim at best. Even so, with TLC came two possible fates for dear ol' Jack, so if anything we would need to have Lionheads official answer as to what is the "official ending" in TLC, to be able to speculate if Jack will/could make an appearance in Fable II.
