Royal Guards

In fable 2 after I bought the castle I was a little upset at how empty it was of people. So in fable 3 do you think there will be like elite or special guards deployed at the castle that protect you?

Re: Royal Guards

Well, at the end of See The Future DLC, when you walk down the castle, there are alot of guards standing regimented on either side, so my best guess would be yes. They will probably do some osrt of castle invasion thing like what they did with the bandits at Fairfax.

Re: Royal Guards

The house was really never complete empty. I remember very well when all my fans, for some reason, follow me to the castle. And not only them, also the pay-me-and-i-give-you-sex girls came.

Re: Royal Guards

Ya the castle is completly empty, but outside there's a couple of guards standing guard sometimes. What also makes me feel welcome is that ****ing demon door that always yawns and scares the crap out of me...even when I've opened it already. **** off.

Re: Royal Guards

^Lol it scares me every once and a while...

Also yeah it would be pretty cool...Maybe you could design your own emblem that the guards would have on their clothes..

They could be walking up and down the hallways and guarding the entrance....You could even station them in certain places

Re: Royal Guards

^Ya I want like 50 on each side of the main hall going down towards the throne.

And a family/kingdom crest designing ability would be great, I've thought of that too, and maybe also choosing what color your army will wear.

Re: Royal Guards

Yea like blood red or something

You could also use them to impose laws or sort out crimes and stuff...

Maybe you would have to upgrade their equipment

Re: Royal Guards

Well PM said we could feel free to send our army after someone who isn't paying taxes for example, so I guess we have "guards", maybe more like soldiers, who impose the law. Hopefully there will be guards standing...guard in and around the castle.

This also makes me wonder if for example -- as a king we do something a regular villager cannot do. Would we get penalized for this? I am sure at the start of the game you could/would.
An example of course for doing something a villager cannot do is -- kill others, steal from shops, etc.

Re: Royal Guards

Re: Royal Guards

Maybe people will attempt to assassinate you, or face you for being evil...just to be humiliated obviously (well not humiliated because they can't when they're dead, but you know what I mean).

Yes, he called me up from England, no matter the consequences of billing, just to let me know that...
