Seems very empty

Just beat the game and the world seems very empty.

I went the good way, made some good/bad choices when I was during the king stage and I barely have anyone in my entire city.

All the towns are closed, I have very little money.
All the shops are closed.
What can I do to repopulate?

I'm told you can repopulate your cities by sleeping for several weeks, give those villagers some time to get busy.

Also play the lute in towns - that can encourage people. It did for me anyways

it happens if you dont safe all the money needed for army. stand next to the bed and press A over and over again. worked for me anyway

Actually, thats all you can do to repopulate Albion... Just wait for several days, do the Lute Hero job to attract people (people like to watch you play the lute) and...well... wait.
