Should I buy the first Fable?

I'm getting tired of Fable 2 because I play it so much but I still think it is the best game ever. But I maxed out everything on my character other than a few gargoyles and a demon door.

I've never tried the first Fable, would it be worth giving buying?

also get Fable TLC if you can its longer and has more stuff in it

Well, seeing as how we're all part of a Fable website, I can't imagine there'd be anyone here who would tell you not to get it.

And seriously, get TLC (for PC if you can).

Get Fable: The Lost Chapters. A bunch of stuff they cut out of the original Fable, but put back in for this special edition. It makes the game so much better, and that's pretty amazing, considering it was already an awesome game. Definitely get it.

This calls for war! Nobody gloats about how many times they've beaten Fable except ME.

not much to the fable 2 as none of those are brought up besides oakvale, the heros guild, and your sister

twinblades camp - is now bloodstone/you go in to his tomb

Obviously, he isn't. Fan boys are dicks anyway.

You might find Fable a little weird at first if you played Fable 2 first. I did. You might get into it after a while but I just couldn't be bothered with it. I might go back to it sometime.

Basically, you're lucky that it's cheap so you wont be wasting your money on something you may not like. It feels like an entirely different game and I suppose it would be the same vice versa.

Maybe it's one of those things where you have to play the first one first, otherwise it feels weird? Just remember that Fable has more of a folklore feel than a proper arr-pee-gee feel.

I'm getting it tomorrow after school for PC. I was going to get it for Xbox but I kind of like the PC better for games like that.

Im not though =/ But they only have minor plots in the story besides your sister and oakvale. You could totally skip over all of them and not even notice the story really change besides a scratch over the head if you hear about it and you never played.

Don't get the xbl download - its missing all TLC content. Don't know why they went for the weaker version for XBL download, TLC is much better, you can buy it cheaper and its backwards compatible.

We'll agree that there is nothing critical to the Fable 2 story from Fable, but there are a lot of connections. I think you'll enjoy seeing what fable 2 was referencing in a lot of places. Sort of like going back in time.
