So I got Fable 2 and there's a problem..

So I got Fable 2 and there's a problem..

On my TV, the text at the top of the screen is cut off, and there are no menu options to change the resolution. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix that I'm overlooking?

Some people that have been playing on a standard tv are having the same problem. It seams the text gets cut off and the can't read what they need to do on quests. so you are not alone it's the tv not the game sorry.

Have to see if changing the resolution on the dashboard of the 360 fixes it i guess.

Tried changing the resolution on the dashboard and that didn't help either... Hopefully, they'll patch it, because it's pretty annoying.

Only other games ive seen with problems like this were Lost Planet and some other Capcom games. Resolution of the text was designed on HD TV and on standard definition it was too small to make out.

Oh fantastic. I can barely read the text on other games on my tv that don't have that problem. They better release a patch...

That was the other title i was thinking of, was a nightmare to read on that too at the time.

I changed from normal to widescreen and that didn't help at all. It's not that the text is hard to read. The top half of the text box is cut off.

Well, I'm afraid living in the stone ages has caught up with you. It started with Dead Rising, and now Fable 2. I'm sorry to say that we'll probably see a lot more games in the future being designed for HD TVs only...

That's especially great for those of us who can't afford a HDTV soon. Sure, the family has one, but I don't have one I can actually use myself.

This seems rather stupid to me. They didn't use the hard drive even when they wanted to because it would exclude people without a hard drive and yet they assume that everyone has a widescreen HDTV. Seems a bit unfair to me. As much as I love Fable 2 it's not exactly like I'm going to rush out and buy a tv for it. Wouldn't it have been easy to have a 4:3 option?

I think the TV in our living room will work for Fable 2.
I just would have to switch it in there.
And listen to my pap complain, and complain, and complain.
