I want to start up a new hero in Fable 2. I have a a few things that i'd like to transfer from my old hero to new hero. Anyway of doing this?

Yeah, do some local co-op, and gift everything to the second profile :)

Then what do i need to do with the 2nd profile?

You have two options of doing this:

1- Have a middle man. Get one of your friends to join your game, gift what you want on your other profile to him, then have him gift the items to your new profile.

2- Have 2 controllers. Then just get one profile to gift to your new one.

You can't gift in local co-op. You'll need a middle man, which sucks. I'll help if you need any help, My brother and I can only give each other gold via buying/selling houses with henchmen getting 100% gold. It's a pretty huge flaw.

I did try gifting between the 2 controllers but no go.

Whoops, thought this was Fable 3 :/
Well, yeah. In that case you need a middle man
