TES V

Got back into playing Oblivion, which in turn made me play Morrowind, so I've had TES on mah brain for awhile now, and I can't help but wonder what the TES V will be about. :hmm:
You can hear an npc say to another npc that the Nerevarine has gone to Akavir, and it'd be a nice change of pace to see that land, but at the same time, I'd love to see Valenwood, Elswyr, and Skyrim... In that order.
So I want to hear (Read?) what you think TES V will be about, or what you hope for it to be about.
As always, explanations are welcome, but not needed. :yammer:

Re: TES V

I think the favourites a couple of years ago were Summerset Isle and Skyrim, and the hype exploded when Bethesday trademarked 'Skyrim' about a year ago.

But then Bethesda were a ***** by confusing everyone by firstly saying that they weren't doing ES 5, then they said they didn't have any plans for ES 5, then they said, 'Wait and see.'

It'll be good, I reckon a 2012 release.

But there's a boycott of Imperial goods in the home of the Altmer! or something.

I'd love to see the Summerset Isles

Re: TES V

Skyrim is one of the provinces of Tamriel, like Cyrodiil in Oblivion.

Home of the Nords, and it's awesome.

Re: TES V

I personally want to see Elswyr or the rest of Morrowind, Vvardenfell was good but it made me hungry to see the rest of the land.
Also, *Enter nerd rage*

Re: TES V

Nah, that would suck.

And they had every province in their first game, Arena.

Re: TES V

I want some cool badguys. Like a plot simliar to Daggerfall - I love how they tied that in with the 'Warp in the West.'

Graphics don't matter too much to me, given that Fallout 3 has good graphics I don't think that'll be a problem.

I hope they do change the combat system slightly though, spamming rt until the enemy was dead just wasn't fun...

And they need to sort out the levelling problem. SRSLY U GAIS

Re: TES V

I really liked Dagoth Ur as the bad guy in Morrowind. I loved that whole storyline. I might start playing it again, actually, just thinking of that.

Re: TES V

I'd like to be able to destroy buildings. I'd be this huge Orc berserker with a hammer the size of a car, and yet I still couldn't just bash a locked door down, or crash through the wall. Climbing up walls would be awesome as a thief too, would make escaping guards much cooler. I like to play a thief character, and making only a few boring ways to get away was dissapointing. Being able to climb up the walls in Bravil and jump into the moat, for example.
