The Tale of Archon

William set sail across the vast ocean on his makeshift vessel, not knowing when he would return home. For thirty days he drifted until he was sure he had reached the middle of the sea. There he did battle with a creature which no man could describe accurately. He eventually prevailed against the beast, which came to be known as the Kraken because of its strange shape. After salvaging several of the beast's teeth, the party continued on their way. When they finally reached dry land, they were spotted by the King of Blades. The King sent one hundred Minions down to the beaches to prevent the heroes from advancing, but William lead his men on, ripping apart every enemy in their path. William's heart felt rage once more; vengeance would be his. He ran as quickly as he could as the beaches vanished behind him. As soon as he threw open the Bronze Gate, he moved closer and closer to Mount Ruon, reaching it within a few days. William's small army was not quick enough for him, but could only watch as he scaled the collosal berg bit by bit. When he finally reached the top, he was out of breath. His eyes slowly moved across the rocks until he saw the King of Blades sitting on his throne. William's hand clasped the hilt of the Sword and drew it out, hatred burning in his soul. His body constricted and his muscles became strong, pressing his skin against his battered armour. The King's eye caught a glimpse of young William running straight at him, but it was the last thing he would ever see, for William beheaded him with one mighty swing of the Sword. The blood drained down the King's lifeless body and made a pool on the hard stone floor.

Jack of Blades emerged from inside the Mountain and leaped at William, but he was no match for him without the Sword. William and Jack fought for a day and a half until he struck Jack down. Thinking that Jack was dead, he quickly bounded inside the mountain to confront the Queen of Blades; however, Jack crawled to the throne and picked himself up. With all the Will left in him, he teleported himself back into the Void where his strength would slowly return.

Inside Mount Ruon a war was raging. The Queen of Blades was the largest woman William had ever seen, far more powerful than any man. His struggle with her lasted for weeks until he finally plunged the Sword of Aeons into her breast, piercing her heart. When she fell, Mount Ruon crashed under her weight. The royal Balvorn, which had fed on countless babes, was buried under the debris. Albion was free at last. The women and children began to demolish the statues they had built for their oppressors and erect new ones for their savior. The son of a blacksmith was now Archon, ruler of all Albion.
