Weapons

I just started the game, I'm not far at all but I was looking at the different weapons. I kind of want to be an Assassin or a Bounty Hunter. Some weapons I'm interested in are the Katana and the Flintlock pistol. I was reading in the book that came with the game that the Katana isn't too powerful though. So what other kinda weapons should I check out for the job I want. Thanks for the help guys.

Get the daichi..its a katana (i think) and its the best weapon in the game..

It's a legendary weapon you have to go through a dungeon to get.

The dungeon is located by brightwood tower. Once you've finished your quest at brightwood tower, go back to the tower and go up to the floor where you fought the giant shard thing and go to the left side. You'll see a broken ledge and a broken tower thing you can jump into. Make your way through the dungeon and when you come out of it there will be a treasure chest nearby.
