What Will be Your Character's Alignment

Ok we should all be familiar with :angel: vs :devil: but now our character will also be either Pure :blush: or Corrupt :sly: .

It was said near to the end of Lionhead Video Diary 6, that purity and corruption will be measured on a "Purity Test" like you would find online.



For example Have you?

• Ever kissed anyone?
• Ever had a drink?
• Had a date?
• Had an alcoholic beverage
• Been drunk
• Gotten sick from being drunk
• Had sex with a MOS?

I'm fairly sure that the number of times you do such things will play a factor as well

Given all of this will you be?

• Pure Good
• Pure Evil
• Corrupt Good
• Corrupt Evil

and didn't put neutral on purpose! Get off the fence!

Pure good, I may not end up rich, but I want to see the extreme morphs, of the cities, people, and gypsy camps, etc. Not even sure I'll get married, the first time through.

CUrrupt good because it just sounds like the best choice were you can be good to everyone but sometimes you have to be smart about thinga and pick the best choice for you (a little self-ish i know) by being corrupt

first time through i am going to do whatever will help me and then my second game i will be pure good and third game will be pur evil or corrupt evil whichever one is worse

Pure Good would be like Mother Theresa
Corrupt Good would be like Han Solo
Corrupt Evil would be like Jack Nicholson in The Witches of Eastwick
Pure Evil would be like like the albino from The Davinci Code

I'm sure there are better examples out there.

i plan on trying out each character type but on first time ill probably end up being more of a good corrupt

also due to the fact that PM has repeatedly said that being pure good would require alot of sacrifice i dont wana do that on my first playthrough

I'll be whatever I get from doing good deeds, but still having a **** load of cash!
Since there's probably a whole lot of cool items, weapons and clothing you can buy

Great thread, Todd! Got me thinking now...

I think I'll be leaning more towards 'Corrupt Good' than 'Pure Good' since I know I'll be nice to all the lovely townsfolk, but I'll probably end up mercilessly slaying all the villains without any remorse. :devil:

I might end up stealing the occasional piece of weaponry... and food, too, and give it to the poor, all Robin Hood style. :angel: I'll keep the weapons for myself, though!

I will be whatever I get from doing good deeds, but still having a s**t load of cash! (I wanna get all the clothes, weapons, items money can get)

High chance is I'll play the story as I have as a Paladin. I start out as one whom aspires to be a champion of justice. Then once the moment arises where morality might often turn for the worse, as follows I'll end up becoming "fallen" and allow corruption and evil to consume me. Then I shall lay waste to those I had helped in the past, no longer the pure warrior I once was.

It's often said that those who have tasted light and justice and turned away make the foulest villains.

What ever happens, happens, i guess. >.< jk ill be pure good then corupt good then pure evil (lol) then corrupt evil then do it all over again as a chick. then ill do that alll over again but have it as a guy then girl fighter, ranger, mage and then combo of all three. wow thatll take a while.

ill go with corrupt good for now, although im not set on anything as of now. im just gonna play and take things as they come and then after iv beaten it i will do the opposit of whatever i did the first time. and continue to replay it till iv experienced everything!

i also will probably be corrupt evil until i master the evil arts and then turn good such as the girl wizard from the heroe's guild statue but in male form

I'll be whatever i Bl***y feel like i don't care what others think i'll slaughter when i feel like it and save people when i can't be stuffed slaughtering.

But i'd edge more towards being Corrupt Good seeing as i like money alot.....

But if i see a kid who's about to geet torn apart by vicous monsters i'll jump in and kill 'em then i will have an indebted servant FOREVER!!! MUHAAHAAHAAA!!! *cough* *cough*

I'm gonna go with Pure Good the first time round.

We know there is good and evil, purity and corruption, but aren't there a few more morphs?

things like kindness and cruelty?
