Wierd things happening to my charecter after i finished the game.

Ok by the time my girl char finished the game she was covered with scars and

she was old from where you give up your youth

But after finishing the game, i was just exploring, and i like traveled to a region, and noticed my scars had gone away,

and then i traveled some more and did a quest, and i was youthful again instead of looking old

Is this supposed to happen?
