Chapter 2
After many days of travel, West's group finally arrived at the designated meeting place, somewhere none of them, not even Mater Juan, had even been
"Well," West announced "here we are: Geistmorass."
"This is the place of meeting," called out one of the students.
"Apparently yes, Bates, it is," West sounded unsure. Master Juan couldn't have requested his region surely. Dead trees surrounded everywhere, swamps caked the ground, reeds were sprouting from every tree and part of the swamp. A few houses were visable but they looked uninhabbited. West began to contemplate turning back while his party murmmered amongst themselves. But without Master Juan being present they had no choice but to enter the region.
"Alright, hush up now, everyone follow me and be on your guard."
West proceeded forward followed by his group.
"But what about Thatcher and his lot, sir?" asked Bates.
"They'll find us, not to worry about that," answered West.
"Well," West announced "here we are: Geistmorass."

They came to a bridge crossing over more marshes which led out to the sea. Across the bridge was a big building with a sign out front. West walked over to inspect it. He had no luck in reading it, no one did, it was too weather worn to read. As West led his group up the path, Melony, who had been traveling with West heard a voice. She turned still walking expecting it to be one of the other students, but they were all transfixed on the dead land before them. Melony turned back around and moved closer to West. As she did this the ground started to shake. Everyone stopped in thier tracks and looked on as three dreded Hollowmen rose up from the ground and advanced on them. West instinctivly drew his cutlass, as did the senior members of the students, and met the Hollowmen's challenge.
