WTF Does the mysterious ring do?

First off I already searched through the old threads looking for info about the mysterious ring but only found speculation and or guesses about what it does and the threads were from before the game was released. So my question is what is the confirmed answer on what it does? I just won it last night playing pub games and want to know what it does before I use it. Thanks

Well what do you think a ring does?
Just because it's called the mysterious ring doesn't mean it can actually do anything.Of course I could be wrong,but it's just a matter of opinion.

Rememeber what Peter M said about fable 2 meant to feel like a real life game experience.

Has anybody tried to give it to Lady Gray? I'm curious if someone has married Lady Gray, moved into Fairfax Castle, and taken her into her tomb after giving her the ring.

Is the Fairfax glitch one where your spouse gets stuck inside a wall. That's what happened to Lady Gray when I married her and moved her to Fairfax.
