Microsoft has confirmed that the demo for LucasArt's Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 is available now on Xbox Live.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 takes place seven months after its predecessor, and despite his untimely demise at the end of the first game Starkiller has returned.

The demo's due to hit PSN tomorrow.

Had a go earlier, besides starkillers run animation and voice I loved it, seems alot more fluid bit to fluid if you ask me Starkillers attack style is unfun imo its too clean I preferred the harsh unorthodox heavy style he had in TFU1

I don't think I'm going to try the demo. I like to watch trailers and find out information for games before they come out, but I want to experience it all once I have my very own copy.

Played the demo yesterday evening and I loved it. The demo wasn't that long, but it was worth every minute. Great detail and I loved the introduction. Definitely getting the Collectors' Edition given that I do have some luck soon. Here's my little rant on that note, which I've posted elsewhere:

Did anyone here play the demo as of yet? If you haven't, it's available for download (~705 MB) at the game marketplace. The demo was absolutely great and I loved the ending. Leaves me rather anxious for the actual release.

Now, onto my minor rant. I went to GameMania today, which is a local game store, and it seems the Collectors' Edition of TFU2 was sold out already. So, I went to some other locals stores to see if there were any other CEs available, but they didn't even have them available; never did. GameMania would be the only place for such a pre-order, and it seems my chance had passed a while ago already.

Does anybody (who lives in the Netherlands, or perhaps knows of these stores by any chance) know whether it's merely a matter of time before said stores will get them as well, or is null? I'm a type of person who must get the Collectors' Edition if there's one available (given the chance that it's applicable at the time); pretty much for every game or genre that I like, so I'm rather in a stuck position.

And here's a picture of the CE, for the record:

i gave it a play through and i'm impressed. took everything the first did right and kept it, gave it better combat, better graphics, and a more polished feel.

basically what everyones already said, but i wholeheartedly agree.

I still have to play the first one. GOD am I so behind on so many games. D:
You should, Markie. Definitely worth it, in my opinion. While quite repetitive after a while (though that may or may not be because I wanted to hunt some achievements), you don't want to miss the ending and the story in general.

I had high expectations. And guess what. The demo met them, and I'm convinced that the full game will exceed them. The combat was mostly what I had expected it to be, but I'm sure it will evolve as you play through the actual game. I also can't wait to see the rest of the story. The demo just seemed to jump right into it, but I'm sure the rest will be great.
