2.buy lots of stalls,businesses, houses and the like.
3.when you have a reasonable amount of income.
4.save and quit.
5.go to xbox settings and change date the year 2025.
6.go back on to fable 2 and hey presto a handy some of gold.
buy more thigns to rent out for more income and increase the big amount of gold.
7.save. put time back. reload. save and repeat steps 1-6. over and over as wished.
explanation- lionhead incoporated a gameplay mechanic to earn gold when not playing game. we found a way to manipulate it:ninja:
this "cheat"/glitch had been around for ages. i wasn't the first person to discover it.

The best way to get gold is to use the "search" button.
But since you asked so nicely, the bet way I found was to trade weapons from Bowerstone Market to Fairfax. Buy as many weapons from the Blacksmith as you can, then sell them for a profit in Fairfax. Then use the money you made to buy more weapons, and repeat the process. If he runs out of stock, just rest a week in a Tavern, and it'll all rejigger.

What Arseface said is probably the best way to do this without losing items you like. Beside that, I suggest trading via XBLive if you have it. Try to collect as many good items (which people will want to have) as you can and trade them for money. For instance, should you have Fable II: Pub Games and win the Highrollers' Coat, you will want to trade that in-case you don't like it. Could bring up at least 5 million or so. Of course, it depends on the person.

ya so did i, when i found it out. i bet everyone uses it/used it. they just don't want to admit it.
it works well good though. even if it is cheating! but you do need to make gold at the start right? so some work is put in.....aaahh...i love being lazy!! i doubt fable 3 will be so easy to make gold though...sigh...

Having to earn the gold is a good thing in my book, should be easier with the new house management system anyway

Amen brother. I find the best (honest) way, is to trade weapons. (Bowerstone > Fairfax)

i know a better way
1.beet the game (pick wealth as wish)
2. buy EVERY house you can and set rint to +100
3.have two controlers
4.save and go to settings.
5. (okay, with my xbox i get just as much going up one year as i do going up 20. so depending on the
updats on the xbox depends on how many years you go up.) go up a year or two.
load the game that has the houses.
6. right after it loads, click 'satr' on the 2nd controler.
7.the 1st controler puts money share to 100%. the secand controler sins in, use the player 1s profile thin if the
account you wont the money on is on the same profile. pic the save
8.press A to acsept.
9.REAL IN MILLIONS OF GOLD!
(its hard to do but once you do it you might not need to do it again ^_^)

The best way to get gold is rent out every house you buy and work at your job all the time you will soon see a change in your little gold coins
Well if you go to all your shops and houses you can change the rent/price to +100, save the game sign out from xbox live, go to system setting on your xbox change the time to year 2025 confirm settings, start the game and wait 8 seconds, then you will see that you are corupted and got more money.
Then save quit game, sign in to xbox live, load the game again and save again, and do this over and over again untill you are happy.
If you want to be pure you can do the same thing but instead of having +100 on all your houses and stores you change it to -50 or -25.
