I looooove sushi. I refused to try it for years due to its "yucky"-factor, but once I grew up and dared to try it I got hooked. My little sister likes sushi, but with a twist: vegetarian sushi!

lolwut?

How can it still be sushi when the very ingredient that defines it as such is absent? Isn't vegetarian sushi a huge oxymoron?

My dad did sushi once.
Don't even know where he got the crazy idea from. I'm not much of a fish fan so not for me.

Us Swedes have a niche for eating raw fish in various forms of varying degrees of disgusting so it is not that alien to us. Also, your dad dared to attempt home-made sushi? Crazy man, I'd leave the sushi making to actual certified Asians!

Fish are living things, vegetarians don't eat stuff that move around and eat other stuff.

Actually there are a lot of hypocrite vegetarians who have no problem eating fish. Apparently if it is part of the fishing industry rather than the evil meat industry it is awwwwright to eat.

Well if I had to pick my favorite fish, it's this

and only when eaten raw. All that salmon crap can go down the drain. If there's any fish I eat, it's this. And to be honest, this with some pepper, black bread and onion is super awesome delicious.

My translator calls it Baltic sprat.

I love sushi, shame the chinese buffet I go to doesn't serve it anymore (yes I said chinese buffet, I am aware that sushi is japanese before anyone flames me.) Seriously though that stuff is great. Always been into fish, cod, samon, tuna, mackerel. You name it, I love it!

Isnt Sushi the rice part of it and the raw fish part known as sashimi?

Never tried Sushi, although I'm not a mega fan of the fishy stuff so I doubt I ever will.

Every so often my mum buys these little trays of sushi from Tesco, and I swear as she eats them she looks like a cat...or a duck. I can't decide.

I've never tried sushi myself, only really because I don't want to look like any other farm animal than a pi- Nevermind.

Well, the first chance I get I'll eat some Sushi.

And bolognese is amazing!! How can you hate it? :p

A persons taste often changes as they age, I used to hate most italian food as a kid and most of my teenage years. But for some crazy reason bolognese is now one of my favourite dishes. I still eat loads of sweets though, (even more than I did as child and that was a lot.) So I suppose some tastes don't change that much.

Maybe one day I'll like olives...
