Disappointed game anticipations.

Please list any games that you were highly anticipating and when you received them after months of waiting, you felt like a child at christmas. Once you unwrapped it and started playing it became highly disappointed with it. I felt that way about battlefield 3 and halo reach.

'Highly' disappointed? Fable 3 was less than I expected, but I still had a lot of fun with it. For the rest, uhm... I only bought AC: Revelations - And it was AWESOME. Yeah, I don't have a lot of money, okay?! D'=

It was funny seeing Molyneux make 50 journalists sign a wall saying it wasn't on rails. Good for Fable, I'm so glad it's not on rails. Winning.

It was a railroaded piece of crap, that reused old fallout elements that really shouldn't be there. I'm not a big fan of beth, but compare Skyrim or even Oblivion to FO3. Skyrim gives you two factions to choose early on, and neither of them are much better than the other. Oblivion only had one way to finish the main quest, but it didn't have the pretense of having SO 'many' moral choices (which in the main quest theres about 4 at the end). After hearing so much about it, with people saying its the best game ever, I was disappointed to find out its nothing like the old fallout games. Thats why it was a disappointment. Fallout New Vegas was better written, in my opinion.
